  • Pre & Post Event Sport Massage. There are many different ways that sport massage can be used to prepare the body for competition, enhance performance levels, and increase recovery ability and is essential when taking part in competition/event. Pre event massage assists in optimum performance and minimise risk of injury by warming up the major muscles to be used and helps to mentally prepare and by massage discovering any injuries that could worsen or cause further complications. Post event massage helps muscle tissue to normalise and recover and relax and get rid of any toxic build up in muscle tissue and is mentally calming.

  • PNF Stretching and Trigger Point Therapy. Proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation stretching (PNF) can bring about dramatic gains in flexibility and ROM in a very short time because of the use of several built in neurological mechanisms to optimise a muscle's ability to lengthen. It was developed by a Dr Herman Kabat a neuro-physiologist, back in the 1950's to rehabilitate Polio victims. Now in recent years it has been perfected as a very effective muscle treatment therapy.

  • Hydro Therapy. An important aid to rehabilitation post injury/surgical, beneficial to speed recovery and improve range of movement. Pool or Hydro therapy is the safest form of rehab, especially for weight-bearing injuries, because it takes place in the buoyancy of water and thereby removes impact and trauma from weight-bearing on joints.
